At a release (bi-annual or unscheduled), modifications to the code of Dossplorer are implemented. As Dossplorer is a cloud-based solution and accessed via your web browser, some parts functionalities may be stored by your web browser in its cache. 


In order to have the improvements of Dossplorer after a new release working properly, we strongly advise to clear the browser cache for Dossplorer, so that no old cache is interfering with new functionalities or improvements.


Below is described how to delete the cache and cookies for Dossplorer in multiple browsers.


How to clear browser cache and cookies for Dossplorer using Google Chrome:

In Google Chrome there are two ways to clear the cache and cookies, separately and together. When choosing to delete them together, cookies will not only be deleted for Dossplorer, but also for other websites.


Method 1: Cache and cookies

1. Go to the address bar, type the following and hit enter: chrome://history/ 

2. Click "Clear browsing data".

3. At the basic tab select time range "All time" and select "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files" by checking the boxes in front.

4. Click "Clear data".


Method 2: Cache

1. Go to the address bar, type the following and hit enter: chrome://history/

2. Click "Clear browsing data".

3. At the basic tab select time range "All time" and only select the "Cached images and files" by checking the boxes in front.

4. Click "Clear data".


Method 2: Cookies

1. Go to the address bar, type the following and hit enter: chrome://settings/ 

2. Scroll down and click "Advanced".

3. Under "Privacy and security" click "Site settings".

4. In the new screen, click "View permissions and data stored across sites".

5. In the new screen, search for "dossplorer.com"

6. Click the three dots at the search result for step 5, followed by "Clear data"

7. Click "Clear" in the pop-up.


How to clear browser cache and cookies for Dossplorer using Microsoft Edge:

Cache and cookies

1. Click on the menu button at the top right corner of the browser (three dots).

2. Click "Settings"

3. Under "Clear browsing data", click "Choose what to clear".

4. Make sure the following boxes are checked:

    - Cookies and saved website data

    - Cached data and files

    - Tabs I've set aside or recently closed

5. Click "Clear".

1. Click on the menu button at the top right corner of the browser (three horizontal bars).

2. Click "Options".

3. Click "Privacy & Security".

4. Under "Cookies and Site Data" click "Clear Data"

5. Make sure the following boxes are checked in the pop-up:

    - Cookies and Site Data

    - Cached Web Content

6. Click "Clear".
